New to the community but excited for my 2017 F-Pace 35t R-Sport (62k odometer) delivery upcoming! I wanted to ask the community a couple questions. Obviously with the 2017 being the first year they came out with the F-Pace there are worries about the reliability of the motor.
2017 XE or XF reliability. Realistically, how much trouble am I looking at with either of these models? Both under $23k (I'm in America) and both around 41k miles. Most of my exposure to Jags comes from watching Top Gear and I know they exaggerate a bit, but clearly reliability is a concern. Jaguars are gorgeous cars and I've always wanted one
The I-Pace will be sold in Europe with the range being 300 miles, that is the range the car got under the official European test cycle system. If you have a problem with the test cycle being unrealistic, then thats fine, but has nothing to do with Jaguar.
Nothing else, ever. Two friends have a 17 f pace S and a 20 F type 2.0t. No issues there, either. Maybe we're just lucky.. We drive ours pretty hard, and still average 22 mpg ( 90%+ city driving). Can hit 29 on the highway. We also have a 22 x5m50i, and a 22 mdx type s advance, and the F Pace is still the most fun to drive of the three.

This is my first F pace. I got a 2017 35T prestige and love the drive. But I just bumped a side mirror and they wanted $1800 at the dealer to fix. I found a used one on eBay for $500 and a local place charged $100 to install. Made me miss my Honda! Haven’t had much maintenance costs otherwise, just repairs are a killer. CTKn.
