Safelyequipment is all about making edge cases safer. The higher end ones are pushing $2500/each (retail), a more basic headlamp with just an LED DRL are easily $1k/each, a basic halogen lamp is ~$200. The Volvo "thor's hammer" headlights are $2200 a piece and they didn't even have matrix LEDs.
TheZAN10-3 from Zhejiang NAC Hardware & Auto Parts Dept. is an “angel eye” design bi-xenon headlight with anti-fog technology. The stock product depicted here fits a variety of cars including the Honda Accord and Toyota Corolla, but OEM orders are accepted. Lead time is 20-30 days, with a minimum order of 100 sets.
XenonHID (High Intensity Discharge) bulbs are filled with Xenon gas and contain two electrodes - one on each end of the tube-like bulb. When the bulb is switched on, an electric current passes between the two electrodes and the Xenon gas lights up. The Xenon gas is actually only used during the start-up of the bulb.
Zivman 717 posts · Joined 2004. #2 · Jan 24, 2006. Here's a pic of the '06 bi-xenon headlight. The projector is clearly bigger than on my '04, so I'm wondering how much sharper the beam pattern is, and/or how much brighter it is over my headlights. These are offered at PNP for $1295 a pair.
